CALIGIRL'S COMMENT
I met Avatar one day when I was playing Quake 1 on the kitty servers. He was labeled XP-Avatar at the time. For weeks he kept accusing me of being a man, not a girl playing Quake 1 until one day he met my brother DarkViper and played him Quake 1. He noticed back then that my brother was much better back then I was at the time from being so new in the Quake 1 scene. Once those two hit it off, Avatar believed that I was a girl for some reason. For years he's been a good friend, we lost touch for a while there and more recently he's been logging on IRC again this year (2001) in the #xp and #rts channels on irc.enterthegame.com. When I lived in Irvine, California for a while, I had the chance to attend one of his beach parties. It was nice to be able to catch up on old times with him. :)
