CALIGIRL'S COMMENT
I originally met Bonita Girl in the 8th grade. It was hard to move from my previous Junior High school so having her excited to meet me and welcoming me like she did, was so nice. She reminded me of my best friend in Junior High, so I felt like I knew her already. We went to the same High School together too. From having her in my life since growing up she's like another sister I never had. My other big sister is really my second cousin Anna, she always referred my parents as her second mom and dad.As time flew by, Bonita Girl and I lost touch for about 2 years or so. In this whole time I was turning into a hardcore online gamer. We used to play Super Nintendo and other games in junior high but it was different when you play online.
In 1999, I asked her to come over to check out the internet. She occasionally went online to various chats but I wanted to show her that the best place to be was in the gaming scene. She had this odd look on her face... Like 'What???' Then I told her that she had to try out a game called Quake. She was for it to try something new. I warned her it was gory but fun!!! I set up her config to play the original Quake game even if I was playing Quake 2 at the time though but I wanted her to get to know the original game first. Her first try had me laughing so hard I fell on the ground almost rolling on the floor. She screamed and practically jumped out of her seat when she aimed at a guy to shoot and his head blew off. It was hilarious... I pretty much got her all set up with the game and took her on Mplayer.com to meet more Quake players to get her started. She was hooked so I let her learn the rest on her own. She later on enjoyed Quake II and Half-Life.
She's now a second grade teacher at a private school. At this time she enjoys card games like Nerts and other adventure or sports games on Playstation 2.
