Hobbies: Camping and gaming RELATED LINKS C&C Memories  CALIGIRL'S COMMENTS Being a new online female gamer back in 1997 wasn't easy when you desire to play a game like Command and Conquer. I had so many problems with it. There was only a few gamers on Mplayer back then that were kind enough to even care about a girl playing any of those style of games.  One night I met DkKnight from having a dispute with him in the gaming lobby. I was so tired of guys picking up on me, they'd message me in a private pager on the side and it was just super annoying. I came there to play C&C, not to talk cyber trash. While I was talking to some people to play C&C in the Mplayer lobby, a guy started yelling at me out of no where. I had no idea what he was saying or even talking about but it addressed to me, California Girl. He was calling me a slut, a whore and any other name that a lady shouldn't be called if she wasn't one.  I told him I didn't know what he meant. Then he paged me on the side and started cussing me out. I told him I didn't know who he was and for him to stop bothering me. Finally he asked me if I was a girl called Kali from the Kali.net service. I told him I only use CaliforniaGirl on Mplayer and in the past I have used GI Jody. He tried telling me about the situation but I told him I didn't care and closed the pager on him. He kept paging me back and I kept closing it over and over again. Finally he starts spamming in the lobby asking me to forgive him. If he could have one chance to talk to me in a room, I would make his day. Mplayer had microphone's so you could voice chat if you entered a room by leaving the main lobby. DKknight couldn't go on without me forgiving him for his actions. Then he started quoting poetry about his desire to be able to ask this angel from Heaven, California Girl to forgive him for making such a huge mistake. After 15 minutes of his poetry being spammed so much, I told him I would go ahead and go into the room for 5 minutes. I wanted to get in a game of C&C, not sit there and argue with some stranger.  As soon as he made a room, I entered it along with other people from the lobby. It was a huge show for them to watch. There was something other than C&C talk so it intrigued them. Then again, I found out later on that there were MANY DKknight followers, he was like a celebrity, very awesome at playing C&C back in those day. As soon as I entered, his voice comes out and I hear this very attractive voice quoting more poetry. I told him that I forgave him the first minute he said he was sorry in the lobby but I was just confused about the whole situation since I was so new to Mplayer. I had only played there for less than a week. As soon as I talked on the microphone, the whole room just stopped typing. Then out of no where, tons of chat started booming in the chat window. Most of it was, " She really is a girl!"  or   "She's not a guy pretending to be one. whoa?!"  That type of talk made me realize there just wasn't enough girls playing such awesome games. It was really sad.  Through out those first 5 months of my C&C online gaming experience I had many times where I was accused, put down, lied to, even threatened for my life but it always came down to just me being hopelessly addicted to such an awesome game as Command and Conquer. DKknight was an amazing help during these times when I was walked on like a piece of carpet. Then again, he was also a prankster most of the time. He used to log on to Mplayer as other nick names to do little jokes on me. The great thing about him was how he would confess his little joke scenarios with me and say it was him at least 3-7 days after it happened. There were so many pranks that guy did to me but I think the funniest one of them all was when he was he logged on as a nick called Anti-Christ. He kept flirting with me in the lobby. I was this little tough girl by then from playing C&C for about 5 months. Spartans, Davskee and Lovemaker trained me to be this NO MERCY type of gal when playing in the games so I had this attitude even in the lobby back then. I was really good at C&C so I stood by my No Mercy style. Those guys and even DKknight trained me well.  So one day there's a brand new guy that logs on Mplayer called Anti-Christ. He directs comments towards me in a flirting matter, then he started saying how he wanted me to have his devil child. Then all of these comments on what he was going to do to me. All of my friends on Mplayer started arguing with him. Threatening if he did anything to California Girl they'd do whatever to him. This guy didn't seem to care though, he was strutting around like a peacock. That right there made me wonder. This guy seems to bold, he actually knew how to deal with certain guys like he knew them. With his harsh comments, I kept typing my little hehe's in the lobby because he was making me laugh so hard.  It was one of the most funny things because I played along (which I normally wouldn't but for some reason this guy was hilarious, it was hard not to joke back with him).  After few hours later I started realizing that some of his ways reminded me of DkKnight. The guy was courteous to me in a very weird way. He was gentle at his harsh comments, not trying to hurt my feelings. I felt whoever this is, they know me enough to know how to talk to me in that way. Then he was just so rude to everyone in the lobby. DkKnight majored in English, and this guy was so punctual I had this feeling it had to be him. For days I played along with this evil man who hated God. The funny thing about this all is how close DkKnight and I were for so long. He really felt he knew me like a book. He later on told me that he thought me talking to an Anti-Christ guy would scare me but it didn't so the joke didn't work as he had planned. It sure worked on everyone else though. hehe ;)   It was like his own joke was being played back on him for once. The fact that I kept going along with this Anti Christ character he portrayed that week was someone he never thought I would be nice to. He couldn't get over how I had that type of humorous side of me to do such a thing. I miss my old times with CJ, he'll always remain as someone special in my life.
