CALIGIRL'S COMMENT
 I met Lux one day on accident. Lux wasn't XP-Lux at the time, it was more around the time the original Unreal game was released. He evidentially knew of my brother Darkviper, and used to ask him questions about the game because DV worked on UnrealKingdom.com. Lux was put in charge of the console commands page for Unreal Kingdom.

One day I entered IRC in the XP channel and I guess my host name had darkviper@ in it. He thought Darkviper had been a girl the whole time because the nick name said Cali Girl. hehe :) It confused him for a bit so he messaged me on the side saying, "I didn't know you were a girl! I thought your name was Jacob!"  I explained to him about why it had darkviper on it and he understood, we were networked to have access to the net on the same IP at the time. I didnt have my own ip through @home.com yet.

As time flew by, I played Lux Quake 2, Half-life, and then we played Quake 3 Arena together a lot. He's an awesome gamer as well as a very sweet friend of mine. The only thing that he used to get to me was how he would use a sneaky weapon trick in Q3. He runs around with a very weak looking weapon (not a rocket launcher for sure), then as you chase after him thinking he's helpless, he turns around with a rocket launcher shot to the head!

I finally had the chance to meet Lux in person for the first time at E3 event in May 1999. Through out the years we have seen each other from time to time but now that he moved back to the East Coast, it'll be much harder to see him as much. :(
