Finally one day I kept begging him to come on the Mplayer server to play me Quake there instead of on the kitty1 servers. He registered and downloaded Mplayer, then jumped into a game with me. During this time he kept mentioned that he was having packet loss. I had no clue back then what the heck he was talking about. There's no way that he could lose packets in Quake from what I was aware of. He later tried to explain it to me, and well tha was a whole other ball game. Jarlaxle later on changed his name to Spookie, then became a member of Xtreme Prejudice. I finally had the chance to meet Spookie in person at XPCon II in 1998. He was a lot of what I pictured him to be, which was very cool. He's a very laid back guy, and a joy to be around.
