About 6 weeks before Quakecon 2004, I visited id Software's office. During the time I was in the art team's room talking to Fredo, there was a guy with long hair that kept glancing over at me. He seemed to be squinting a bit at times as if he either wondered who I was or maybe he knew me. I wondered if he was a new guy at id Software. I thought I knew what all of them looked like. I left it alone but weeks later while I was attending Qcon, I noticed this same guy watching the MsQuakecon finals.

During the finals I talked to him a little about how he wasn't working at id Software back in 2000 when I ran Quake3world. I thought maybe that was why I never met him before. About 30 minutes later Ms. Donna asked if Kenneth Scott could hand out awards for MsQuakecon, with Kevin as she pointed at the guy (Kenneth) whom I thought was an intern. hehe. When she pointed at him I was in a bit of a shock. All of the comments about telling him he was new and how he didnt work at id Software back in 2000 flashed before me. I walked up to Kenneth and apologized for the nonsense I said earlier. He didn't understand what I was talking about at first but I explained more in detail. He asked me not to worry about it. I told him I created a bio at Quake3world.com of him along with many of the id guys back in 2000. The picture he sent me for that bio was of the back of his head so I had no idea what he looked like.

Kenneth and I talked a few times through email about Quake3world.com back then. For the next few days at Quakecon, I kept telling Kenneth I was sorry every time I bumped into him. He didn't care but I felt awful.

Kenneth is a very talented guy with a great sense of humor. I don't know if it’s just me but there are so many good looking id Software guys; it’s no wonder why more and more girls are playing id Software games. They keep hiring such cutie pies!
