About Me - Additions-
December 28, 2002

I ran
across an old
interview at Clan World Network of me that was done in August 1999.
I have added it to my about page for future
references. There's also some changed made in the
Newsie page.

Aloe Gel Helps Cats Live
Longer? - October 31, 2002

Hope you all have a
happy Harvest day! Here's a cute story for all of you cat lovers, found
at CatInfo.com. Can Aloe Gel
really help a cat live longer?:
Spike, Britain's Oldest Cat
In October 1999, Spike, a 29 year old ginger and
white tom was named Britain's oldest living cat and given a Guiness
Book of Records certificate. Spike's owner, Mo Elkington, an
aromatherapist from Bridport, Dorset, UK attributed his good age to
being fed aloe vera gel each day. His diet also consists of fresh
fish, trout, pink salmon and ordinary cat food. Spike spends his days
in his quarter acre garden in his countryside home. Spike is still in
good health today now at 31.
Household Leopards -
October 20, 2002

Long time now talk huh? Well, as soon as I get LadyGamers.com
launched, I'll try to release the Lighthouse and Leopards sections here.
As for other real life items, Matthew and I have adopted a new baby boy.
He's a Bengal Leopard. We won't get him until around Christmas time. It's sort
of a present for Matthew but of course he's my present too. I can't wait
till we get him.
What is a Bengal Leopard you ask? It's a crossover
breed from the wild Asian
Leopard cat
and a domestic breed,
Egyptian Mau. They turn out to be very gorgeous cats. My mom used to
have two Bengal leopards when I was in high school. I know their nature
can be wild but they do have the domestic cat in them. So with tons of
love and attention, they turn out to be one of the best kind of cats a
leopard lover could want.
I'll make a section for our Nicodemus
sometime soon. Kim of
Fascats in Florida is where we are getting him from. She's
wonderful. She also sells Savannah cats, which I never heard of until I
met her. They are mixed with the wild cat, African Serval and a
Bengal/or other domestic cat. They seem much bigger, check out her
homepage for some intriguing photos.
Name Calling -
January 6, 2002

I finally finished the Name Calling section. No, this isn't about
people calling people names, it's about the background of my nick name,
California Girl along with various other nick names I used to use. It's
listed under Name Calling in the About
Me section.
About Me Opens -
January 2, 2002

I don't know if it's a great idea to have three different areas
where there is news (The main news page, photo album page and now here).
Do you? Well, I guess it won't hurt for now. :P So the alpha
design of
California Girl's Corner of the net has been released! The ABOUT
ME section *cringe* has been opened. I have my game bio, the games I
like (why I like them), my foundation, cravings, fandom and pictures.
There's about two sections that haven't been complete under the ABOUT ME
section though... it's just the Newsie side of things and my nick name
backgrounds.
As for the leopards and lighthouses sections, those are on hold until I
can fine tune what I have for them at this time.
As most of you know already, the
main news page at CaliGirl.net isn't about me but about games, comics
and entertainment. This section of CaliGirl.net/cg has always been about
the personal side of not just the gamer CaliGirl (which most of you know
already far too well) but Jody Robinson so please forgive me but this
site won't be 100% gamer territory. With that said head on over to the
About Me section! Oh.. before I go... remember most of the latest
happenings can always be found in Breezing
By. Take care peeps! *hugs*
