Below you'll find Nicodemus' new
Slamming doors game, mousey toy, and more.
Slamming Doors Game
My cat has learned something new and believe me I don't think I like it
very much. He slams the doors in the house now. Now I realize that I
have told him "out" a few times the past week because he yowls and wants
his way at times. He does this when I am trying to take a nap, so of
course he gets me during my grumpy time. But for him to do it to me, I
don't know if he's doing it to be playful, or to show HE CAN do it too,
or if he's giving me some type of payback. How does he slam it? He runs
up to it and as soon as he gets near the door he stands and then pushes
the door with his two paws. To me it's looks like he gives it a type of
pounce with full strength and speed *SLAM*. I know he isn't your average
cat, and he learns quickly but he has these dog instincts, or should I
say people ways about him.
So after he slams the door, of course
I either will walk up to the door, or my honey will. He'll stick his paw
out for me to grab it. It's a little game to him. The only problem,
depending where I am, I cant get out of my bathroom or into or my
bedroom because he lays there against it. I don't want to hurt him so I
slowly open it to put my head a little through it. He still doesn't move
so I usually have to call someone to grab him so I can get out, when it
comes to the bathroom. He's like a little child with drawers too.
He pulls them out. These drawers are hard for me to pull out because
they don't work well. I'll hear a squeaking noise while I am on my
computer, and it sounds like a person opening a drawer. I'll walk up and
he gives me this guilty look, then looks away to find a toy to play
nearby. He acts like he doesn't know who did it.

Sunbathing
This is the first time he has rolled everywhere so I had to grab my
camera. He ended up getting pretty dirty that day...

He's Driving!
Matt took off my steering wheel
cover and put it on the floor near the dining table. It had been there
for a day but low and behold, Nicodemus decides it makes a good place to
relax in, and it matches him. How much more could he go wrong!

Naptimes
I finally was able to catch his second yawn, but I wish I was much
closer. He has a type of spot ripple of black on the roof of his mouth.
For some reason he desired to crawl
underneath my desk to make himself a little nest while I had my blanket
covering my legs. I felt this movement but ignored it since I thought he
was just walking around under my desk. After I left to grab a drink he
looked like this. It couldn't have been comfortable.
