Questions
1: What do you enjoy most about the Holidays?
Answer:
Getting
together with friends and family.
Questions
2: Can you explain your current activity in the
gaming community? What are the games you have enjoyed since
you stopped playing Quake 1?
Answer:
hmmm,
too many games to list since Q1, but I've enjoyed playing:
Deus Ex, Nascar Heat, Delta Force, Motorcross Madness 2, Quake
2, Quake 3, Unreal, UT, Tribes, Need 4 Speed (entire series),
Dungeon Keeper, Castrol Honda 2000, Hidden and Dangerous,
C&C Tiberium Sun, C&C Red Alert 2, Homeworld, Drakan,
System Shock 2, Revolt, ok I'll stop now......
Questions
3: In what way do you feel the Quake community has
changed since Quake III Arena came out last year?
Answer:
My main
relationship is to the level editing part of the community.
It's been great to watch the mappers come together and help
each other out in the forum, it's like one big family there.
Questions
4: Have you had a chance to check the Team Arena
Demo yet? If so, what do you enjoy the most about it?
Answer:
Due to the
time I've been spending with HH3, I've only been able to play
the TAD for a brief hour. What I've seen so far, I like
though.
Questions
5: With id Software's new project being
focused on Doom, is there any features you would like this
upcoming game to include?
Answer:
I'm more of an "Eye Candy" player, so I
would like to see more realism in the game. Things like
parting fog as a player runs through it, along with other
subtle things like that.

- Hrewty:
Paul Jaquays` "loyal sidekick" on the
Level editing forum. He is quite a nice guy, and you can
meet him ever so often in the #qeradiant channel on IRC.
- CyriC:
2 reasons I like Astro. 1) When I became mod of
R&R, he gave me his sympathies... 2) When I was
printing out the q3Radient manual till my ink ran out and
had to go buy some more and he never said a discouraging
word to me.
- chiQ:
I really like AstroCreep. He's a nice guy and very
helpful. He doesn't venture out of the forums he mods much
(shows why he's here really) but if you want to see
good-nature and intelligence in action get your arse into
one of his forums.
- pjw:
I spend 99.9% of my time in the editing forum.
AstroCreep has always seemed very friendly and helpful to
newbies as well as more experienced mappers. He has a
great sense of humor, which seems to be helpful when
dealing with myself and the rest of the misfits and
disreputable types that hang about here wasting time.

Girl: Besides Paul Jaquays, AstroCreep is one
of the most well known guys on the editing forums. He's
been a great help for the site. I have talked to him a
couple of times on the phone and to me, he's a very cool
guy to have as a friend. I can't wait to see the next HH3
stuff him and the team have been working on.
- Atomic:
AstroCreep is very cool. He helped me a lot with
questions about mapping and so-forth.
