Questions 1: What do you enjoy most about the Holidays?

Answer:   I just like that holiday feeling you get when the Holidays come around.

Questions 2: Can you explain your current activity in the gaming community? What are the games you have enjoyed since you stopped playing Quake 1?

Answer:  I have taken a liking to Real Time Strategy based games like AOE2, and Squad Based Shooters like Rainbow6/Counterstrike. I also love sports and try to play the computer version if I can (usually any EA-Sports title). Basically if it's a well-done game, regardless of genre, I will at least try and evaluate it for further enjoyable play.

Questions 3: In what way do you feel the Quake community has changed since Quake III Arena came out last year?

Answer:   The biggest change to me is the wide acceptance and recognition from other countries. There's much better competition and player base from all over the world these days.

Questions 4: Have you had a chance to check the Team Arena Demo yet? If so, what do you enjoy the most about it?

Answer:  I really enjoyed the teamplay. There's some different styles of capture the flag team work in it, being able to play with a real goal in mind.

Questions 5: With id Software's new project being focused on Doom, is there any features you would like this upcoming game to include?

Answer:  The only thing I would request is if they could bring back that old, fast paced deathmatch feel to the game that made the original Doom such a big success.

Questions 6: What gamer besides yourself do you feel comes to mind as one of the most respected gamers? This would be someone who you felt is respected not only for his gaming skills but for his/her attitude.

Answer:  XP-Kiljoy, Thresh and Cali Girl

  • K9-Gloucester: Chael is one of the greatest guys I know. He's really reliable, trustworthy, and has character. I consider him to be one of the most outstanding examples of integrity in the gaming scene today.

  • Cali Girl: Chael is one of the most amazing guys I have ever met. I have played him many games: Quake 1, Age of Empires, Tribes, Quake 2, Quake III Arena. No matter what, he always brings more fun into those games. He's also very protective of me in them.
