Background:  Cyric is known for a well known news reporter for Quake3world.com. He works hard to make sure Quake3world.com is being updated on a daily basis. He also helps out in the Map of the Week section, and works on the discussion forums a great deal.

Questions 1: What do you enjoy most about the Holidays? 

Answer:  I think I enjoy being with my family around the holidays. Don't get to see them much during the year and the holidays are a nice time to get together.

Questions 2:Can you explain your current activity in the gaming community? What are the games you have enjoyed since you stopped playing Quake 1? 

Answer:  Hmm...activity in the gaming community.  Well Webmaster for Q3w, clan leader of the WYD clan. Games I have enjoyed since q1? Half Life sucked out a lot of my time as did Diablo 1&2.  Currently Playing Balders Gate 2 and q3 of course.

Questions 3: In what way do you feel the Quake community has changed since Quake III Arena came out last year? 

Answer: I think the way the Quake community has changed, is that it has grown unbelievably.  Everything from Mod makers to mappers to skinners.  The size of the quakeing community is massive.

Questions 4: Have you had a chance to check the Team Arena Demo yet? If so, what do you enjoy the most about it?

Answer:  Team Arena 0wnz me.  That's all I can say.  I can't stop playing the demo and I got a feeling the full version will knock me outta my chair.  Think I enjoy a game of harvester with a bunch of good guys and gals the most.

Questions 5: With id Software's new project being focused on Doom, is there any features you would like this upcoming game to include?

Answer: Nope. id Software knows how to make a great game and I'm sure Doom 3 will be no exception.

Questions 6: What gamer besides yourself do you feel comes to mind as one of the most respected gamers? This would be someone who you felt is respected not only for his gaming skills but for his/her attitude.

Answer: I would say Teron. One hella good player and a great guy to talk to also.

• LadyT: Ahhhhh... the Master Cyric. I've talked to him a few times on ICQ... a very pleasant chap. I've played quake with him.. brutal and deadly as he should be.

  As far as the board is concerned... he's an awesome administrator. Perfect for handling the motley masses. His judgments are harsh and immediate... lessons are learned very quickly! He's always hovering about and puts an end to nonsense quickly. He's also fair.. giving 2nd chances where they are deserved. He's a very talented man and an asset to Quake3World!
  
  

• Icy Armageddon: Cyric is a fair moderator. He deleted all the shit spam and wouldn't go to bed till it was done. His dedication is unmatched my most. Also he could flame with the best of the them.
  
  
• chiQ: CyriC cares so much about this site and the quality we get in terms of content and interactivity it's amazing. He's underrated and undervalued by a lot of users. He's empathetic and very sweet, and I wouldn't want Q3W to lose him for the world. He's just a honey. Not all of you may know this, but he's a good Q3 mapper!
  
  
• Chemical Burn: I've only recently started to know Cyric. I can't say I know him perfectly well, but what I do know is he gives a damn about this site, one of the few people that can actually make me laugh, and is one hell of a web-guy. Very innovative and very creative.
  
  
• Mercy Killer: I always knew Cyric was special... I'm at a loss for words Let me just say I gotta love that guy.
  
  
• Cali Girl:  Cyric is the sweetest, most reliable guy I have known in the gaming news scene. No matter how many hours he has worked his regular job,  he's always coming online to make sure everything is going ok in the forums and other things here at the site. I have talked to Cyric on the phone numerous times (even when he's half asleep from working night crew all night at times). He's always been very cool about taking on new projects for the site.

• Vikingo: I played Cyric once with Quake III Arena once. He kicked my a** and he had much more lag .
  
  
• Turbanator: I first met Cy when I used to do the Icon shift with DarkViper, him and Legion went a bit ballistic on me for missing out the R&R crew. Since then, I think we've formed a strong team, though we have had arguments, but we always recover and our partnership strengthens. Cyric is VERY dedicated, and likes to run a tight, clean forum, though I like to introduce the fun factor a little, together we get a nice balance. Always informative and helpful, the guy is just seriously cool.
