Questions
1: What gamer besides yourself do you feel comes to
mind as one of the most respected gamers? This would be
someone who you felt is respected not only for his gaming
skills but for his/her attitude.
Answer:
I think that Dennis 'Thresh' Fong would easily be the
most respected gamer. He has done so much for professional
gaming and I still think he is probably the best gamer out
there even though he doesn't play. I looked up to him when I
was practicing and I was honored to be able to
compete with him on the same level of play.
Questions
2: In what way do you feel the Quake community has
changed since Quake III Arena came out last year?
Answer:
Sadly, in my honest opinion, I think has gone down hill tremendously.
People use aliases, people don't respect anybody, and it
just seems less professional minus the LAN tournaments held by the
CPL.
Questions
3: Have
you had a chance to check the Team Arena Demo yet? If so, what
do you enjoy the most about it?
Answer:
I haven't had the time to try it out so I don't really
know anything about it.
Questions
4: With
id Software's new project being focused on Doom, is there any
features you would like this upcoming game to include?
Answer:
Go back to their roots. Why change what's successful? Quake
and Doom2 were the funniest games I've ever played in my
life, and they are far superior compared to Quake3
in my opinion. I feel that less natural skill is
required to master Quake3. As John Carmack once said I
believe "It's designed so anyone can get a kill on
Thresh".
