Questions 1: What gamer besides yourself do you feel comes to mind as one of the most respected gamers? This would be someone who you felt is respected not only for his gaming skills but for his/her attitude.

Answer:   Anyone that's good, but doesn't make a big deal out of it and still takes time to help out the newer players.

Questions 2: In what way do you feel the Quake community has changed since Quake III Arena came out last year?

Answer:   It seems like the top players are gravitating towards just a couple of clans right now... there are probably only 4-5 top level clans right now whereas about 6 months ago there were 10 or so clans that could beat any other team on a given day.  This is probably happening partially because of sponsorships and pro-gaming like a lot of people have suggested, but I think it boils down to the fact that people like to win.  Anyway the same thing happened in Quake 1 so I haven't been too surprised.

Questions 3: Have you had a chance to check the Team Arena Demo yet?

Answer:   nope

Questions 4: With id Software's new project being focused on Doom, is there any features you would like this upcoming game to include?

Answer:  There's a feature I would like to see not included and that's the rail gun or any other massive damage instant hit weapon like that.  I really think Quake III Arena would be a lot more fun, at least in 1 vs 1, without the rail.
