Both of the Islands have their own experiences that are worth visiting. I definitely want to re-visit Angel Island but I would like to rent a Segway or a bike and take the scenic route slower. Back in early 2005 I broke up with my b/f of four years (long story) and at the time I stopped sharing so much about myself. I cared a lot for him and a part of the break off was just completely everything, including sharing anything that was happening in my life. By the time I finally was able to get caligirl.net working again I ended up being busy but I did take the time to link you to other sites I mingle with. Now here's some more of the scoop into the life of CaliGirl or some of you know me more as Jody Robinson or JodyR (if you're a GameSpot user). YouTube whore . In case you haven't noticed I'm a real youtube junkie these days. There's nothing like turning off the TV because there's so much more happening with people in the real world. My latest videos are about me recording a song and making a music video. It's great so see the feedback that comes in but it would be nice to have some honest opinions for improvements if I decide to make another one for fun. Like hey Cali, why not go outdoors instead of standing in the shower?! Female vocalists! It's rare to find singers that really move me and cause me to listen to them over and over again. There's two favorites I have had this week. One is Natasha Khan from the band Bat for Lashes. She's full of life but she's also amazing with art and she has a beautiful voice. Speaking of songs, this isn't female vocal related but check out the Mean Kitty Song. It was a video done by Mr. Safety, a popular youtuber. Lights, Camera, Action! Other interesting things are related to video editing or being in front of the camera.
Reason to eat a McDonalds! (Sat/Mar/31/07) You need to be a doll lover and then you'll have a reason. The 2007 Madame Alexander Happy Meal Promotion started Friday, March 23rd. This year the dolls are from Wizard of Oz, and they will be available until April 19th, or while supplies last. You can see what the dolls look like in the gallery over at About.com. Breezing by.. oops (Wed/Feb/5/07) Okay, okay, my bad. I have been so busy lately I forgot to give you updates. Lets see, where to start. How about I link you because I think I am spread out on content lately since my site was down for so many months. smugmug - This is not going to replace my beloved photo album but it's a great place to post my events and other little happenings as of date. Yes, I am in desperate need of updating my photo album content. You know, I wouldn't have until they threatened to not talk to me for not visiting my hometown enough. I recently put it to private so add me if I know you. If I don't know you... erm.... at least introduce yourself and state how you heard of me or where I met you in person. I tend to ignore random invites of people I don't know. GameSpot Profile - My profile is also set to private for this one. Add me as your friend to view the blog posts. Livejournal - When CG.net and LG.com was down I was forced to create a blog page. It's not really gaming focused like the GS one. youtube - The last one is sort of erm... embarrassing. All of that should get you in the know of my latest happenings. Other than that, I plan to attend Quakecon 2007 so let me know if you'll be there. I've gotta jump into a game right now or I would spill more details, cyas! And I'm Back!
